My questions

Question 1

They say I will not get any faults or warning lights cause its diesel is that true???

Question 4
How would I know if the cat is clog up because the car have 201365km still pulls strong and get 6.1l/100km.

Question 5
Does the E46 320d have 2 or 3 or these boxes.
I know there is one on top close to turbo.
If there is 2 do both need replacement

Question 6

Q2 does your car have oxygen sensor then it will have to be disabled no need to do software but a tuner will need to disable the oxygen sensor.

Q3 Oxygen sensor will give warning light.

Q4 if its clogged you will need to drive a 40km plus minus route open road for it to go into cleaning cycle and it will clean it self.

Q5 Only need to replace the one before the turbo,

Q6 Why would it there is 330D's running with 76mm freeflow pipes on with no problems

Thanks alot Dippies now i have a lot more clarity.
The guy at Auto speed say the remove the piece where switch turned screw into and weld it onto the straight pype and screw sensor in again and i does not give any lights of faults

I didn't have sensors in my 330d which is a 2003 but manufactured late 2001. I dont know if you have mid cats but you might as well get them removed as well. When my car was on the dyno after the cats were removed. I saw no smoke come out the back and at 414 000kms I'd say this tractors running great
