E46 318i Funny Rattle/Vibration noise

Hi guys,

The E46 has a funny noise coming from the engine, see video and where it sounds like it is coming from in the picture (yellow arrow). It sounds like a rattle noise as is there are lots of tiny metal balls all vibrating around together. Hope you can hear it from the video and hope someone has an idea of what it is..

Post a pic or 7 as I have the same rattle. How did you isolate the problem?? fix??? Come one where is the DIY......

I isolated the problem, by when it made the noise I put my ear there & heard where it came from

DIY:
Arrive @ Mechanic, Show him where the noise is coming from..

Collect car when its fixed
