E46 20D PROBLEM

Hi there i am looking for assistance. I drive a E46 320d 2002 BMW. When i start my car it does not want to idle properly. Then when i drive the car does not have power and smokes a lot. And it makes a noise sounds like coming from the engine. But when the vehicle is hot it fixes it self?? Has anyone heard of such a problem.Or maybe knows what it could be? Thanks Rene

Accourding the mechanic today it might be the Turbo sensor or the Cam sensor. But they need to strip and check. Just wanted to know if some one had a problem like this before. Thanks Rene

It could be that the EGR valve is stuck. The symptoms is sluggish power and loads of smoke. Clean out the EGR as well as the airflow sensor (be careful, this part has delicate internals) Google all these things, it is all DIY, before you pay somebody to do it.

Possibly blocked cats. Get them removed anyway. Not too expensive and it's better for the car anyway.

Yes be careful with the maf sensor that thing costs R8000 @ the dealer

Just got the injectors cleaned R8000 and then new air intake manifold. But like the car and do not want another.

I had a corsa 1.6 sport car gamma shape and a opel kadete 1.6is and a monza had no problems with them but this brand new vehicle is giving me grey hairs lol

LOL > Mine is also not well after a !@#$%%^ mechanic repaired the engine.But i have a lot of respect for my Opel. My ultimate car is a Skyline GTR.
