E39 Towbar

Hi Guys - I am looking for a towbar goosneck for my 2003 530i. Bought the car with the towbat fitted but the previous owner lost the gooseneck and Bosal no longer make this one. The Towbar's Bosal part No is 14BM17T. Bruce's reckon they can help at R1000 plus vat. Even Bosal thought this a tad steep for just the gooseneck. I have added a photo of the bracket's design

think it should fit....

can you measure distance between holes, which area are u based in?

That should work, if the holes don't line up then put one bolt in and weld it up.:thumbs:

Thanks everyone. Found the correct one. It is a semi-round tube with a drop plate and separate ball. Believe that there are not too many of them around
