E39 STALLING ENGINE

Good day fanatics, my name is Thulani and I need your help. I bought a 2002 E39 525 manual with 170k kms in CPT. As I was leaving CPT the car started stalling when I come t a stop and sometimes at take-off. I managed to drive it to JNB with no other problems other than stalling when I stop or take-off. It also jerks during gear change 1-2, the car stalls when I press clutch.
I unplugged the MAF to see if that was the problem but nothing, I plugged it back.
I checked the intake rubber boot and pipes for vacuum leaks and found non.
I then plugged in my portable OBDII scanner and the only relative code I found is: P1347 (MISFIRE CYLINDER 3 WITH FUEL CUT-OFF)
Any suggestions on what I should check next?
I need your help please as I bought the car for my dad and he can't use it

If the missfire follows the coil around then buy a set of new coil packs and replace all of the coils, but a single coil should not cause a engine cutting out. Just a bad misfire.

Yeah the missfire is only coils but a single coil wont cause engine to cut out, just lose power while driving like that.

The cutting out can happen because of the cam sensor and there is another one where the name now I cant remember for some reason. Have those checked as well.

Thank you Rotinaj, that's what I thought as well. Could a bad IDLE CONTROL VALVE be my problem, cause the car runs well at high rev, no cut-off, no jerking, only when I come to a stop and apply the clutch then it dies, or when I take off?

Could well be a compression issue on cylinder 3
Best way to determine the cause is to start with a compression test and then go from there.

Warm the engine
Remove all the spark plugs
Disconnect the fuel pump
Do compression test.
Should have min 135psi and cylinder variation no more than 5% (use as rough guide)

Thank you for all the help fanatics. I connected another scanner on the car and got a code for (CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR). Its expensive but nothing I can do. Next I will do a compression test on all the cylinders as suggested.

Yup thats what I thought :p

Also a common issue on many of the cars of that specific era.

A faulty CPS will give multiple misfires and not just one normally.
Or it will not allow the engine to fire up.

PROBLEM FIXED! I replaced both inlet and exhaust CPS and that solved my issues. Even the Cylinder 3 misfire has been fixed. Even the power is back, so I'm happiest..
