Hi Guys, I have a 1997 528i, just over 250 000km on the clock - manual of course!

Colour: Glacier Green, grey interior, facelift upgrade with lights and Style 5 BMW OEM rims.

The turbo will run cooler and spool up a tiny bit faster. Off course, if it was clogged, it might free up suppressed horses again... The running cooler part allows you to get more gains out of a map, but I would not suggest you think about going that route if your car is automatic like 98% of them...

This being the registry, please post up details of your car, and preferably pics.

Fairly old pics now... I did fix that brake pedal with an OEM one

I have some plans for the car... The biggest of which are changing the wheel's out for 17" Style 42's :inlove:

But for now just enjoying her the way she is... :joy:

My 2002 M5

95000 km's - bought it about 3 months ago from up north - one owner car

Apologies for the iphone pics - lighting conditions not ideal

Pic of front seats when I bought it

After I had it resprayed...

Very happy with the improvement!

Mysterious Pixels that were very bad and miraculously fixed themselves - hopefully it stays that way!!

Only other mods so far is LED Angel eye bulbs of Ebay installed - no pics yet, but looks much better than yellow OEM rings

Planned mods - audio upgrade - still trying to decide best route, and then exterior deep polish and minor touch ups

What a lovely example! :praise::praise:

Personally I'd get rid of the V8 badges below the side indicators...

Audio wise, have a look at this video. He installed the M Audio Subs which was a pretty good improvement over the standard system while keeping it original.

Yep, those V8 stickers will be removed when exterior work is done.

Audio upgrade is an absolute nightmare! I have the non DSP system so I don't have any subwoofers to upgrade. Seriously considereing BAVsound upgrade, but with USD rates and courier costs it gets very expensive. Local sound guys insist on complete system replacement - head unit, amp and speakers - which has it's benefits but also takes the OEM look away and you lose the OBC functionality.

Not an easy decision!!
