E39 propshaft

Going to check for another prop shaft today from beemow.

Anything specific that I should look out for on the prop shaft before I buy it??

Guys are busy pulling my one out now so that I have a sample.

Car has a vibration...looks like it's the prop shaft based on comments by various people...a used one is not expensive, so just gonna change it and see

It looks like the rear cv joint thing is stuffed. There are marks in the cage that looks like the bearings were moving around a lot. BMW want r3000 for a new one.

Went to Pretoria and got a second hand propshaft for R1400. Still looks to be in good condition.

Initially they couldn't find one. I was on the phone to bmw to order a new rear joint thing when the guy found one.

Will fit it soon and see if it solves my issue.

Can you not just repear the CV? Or replacment CV?
