Just wanna post some pics of other E39's and wanna know what you guys think.. my car is currently dark metallic blue, but I'm thinking
of painting it "matt white, and pearl over that" like the new murcielago looks like. maybe with black roof and bonnet. Or without the
black. and some OZ Superleggera III lightweight forged 3piece wheels :drool: hehe

atm I dunno, I'm thinking either the blue in the first picture, pearl white or keep it the current colour. dunno, so indecisive about it .... lol.

Changing the colour of the entire car (proper job) is a HUGE mission. Rather keep it the colour it is now and spend that money you would have spent on the spray job, on mods Much Much more important that a complete re-spray imho.

The second pic of the white E39 personally gave me a woody:boink:. It would also look awsome in either Imola red or a very bright red with the carbon.

Those are some pretty neat E39's!

Clutch: Some CF splitters and a 20mm wider stance and you should be set. Not a fan of the OZ's though, but it looks decent!

aah, matt black is insane, you can't keep it clean, few bugs and your buggered, those fatty marks don't come out... its a stuffup, but it does look hot. matt black with red trim

Carn, lol, this is also my favourite. I think its come down to, either this, or the white with the OZ wheels and the lower CF bumper piece with the vorsteiner hood..

ah, spray job is not really gonna cost me much, 4K maybe, my uncle owns a few panelbeater shops and some scrap yards.. he said I can bring it down and he'll help me do it... so pretty much just gonna pay for the paint, primer, pearl and clearcoat and stuff. got a quote for about 4K. but gonna wait for all my CF mods to be done and THEN paint it, because by that time I'll have my maserati running again, and I'll have the beemer mostly stripped down. proly only in about 6-8 months tho, need to do the CF stuff first... long term project. but I'm gonna make it worth it.
