Hi All,
I have a 2002 E39 M5 with the wood grain interior trim. I would like to try and make up a set of trim panels where the panel is covered in alcantara and has a seam with stitching running the length of the panel, but I want to do the stitching in the same "M" stitching as my on the steering wheel. I want to keep my original panels, will wrap them up and store them so I have all the original bits of the car...
So I'm looking for a set of panels. I don't think they need to specifically be M5 panels, surely any e39 panels will fit, luckily the M5 has no panel in the center above the screen so that middle panel won't be an issue. The panels honestly don't need to be pretty, as long as there are no pieces broken off I can use them. Cracked panels can be glued and sanded and the crack will be hidden under the alcantara in any case I guess. Clips missing can always be replaced. Please, if anyone has a buggered set laying around or knows of anyone wanting to chuck away an old set because they've replaced their panels with new ones let me know and drop me a PM.
Thanks so much guys, appreciate it!!
