Why did I find this thread today , I visited the junk yard this afternoon to look for a few clips and came across an E90 320i , The car was a front hit , I mean a really hard front hit , the dash , wheel everything entered the passenger and drivers side part of the cabin, there were blood stains all over the car , I felt sick after looking at that car and went home .
The guy at the yard said , it isnt uncommon for them to find bits and pieces of stuff in the car, it smells , they call the police who remove it and take it away. we may think our cars are tanks but honestly , at speed any car turns into a tin can easly.
I have pictures ( old pics) of a few cars iv seen at the yards , mercs and bmws which are barely recognizable.

Theres a rolled E55 amg at that yard as well now , no blood in it , I must say its interior really did look pretty awesome .

That's actually quite bad of the scrapyard to not have the car cleaned first. There are professional teams that clean the cars of blood and organic matter before it goes to the scrapyard.
What scrapyard was this?

It was a scrap yard called mando, Generally nice guys , but can be very pricy at times. This was a good many years ago and I havnt been to them in a while (to pricy) , In their defense , this car was still awaiting clearance and cleaning and wasn't in their usual area , I sometimes wander around looking for E30s and come across them now and then, customers are generally not allowed in these areas but im curious so I go in anyway.

Iv always believed that many yards buy their cars from insurance company's auctions , whos duty it is to clean the car and remove "stuff " ?
