E39 driver side mirror

Hi

gents my driver side mirror has just been knocked off my car :argh::argh: and car gaurds say there saw nothing , probably a asshole that couldn't reverse . the cover and mirror is fine , but the whole unit is hanging off its structure broken , where you can swing the mirror in and out .

Im based in the cape town area .

I had to now cable tie it so long

thanks gents quick question , does the e46 mirrors maybe fit on this car.

I notice last night my bumped mirror is now suddenly turning black almost like there some kind of liquid inside of it ?

the liquid is either the anti glare that darkens the mirror slightly or some other strange device the germans thought up
