To be honest, I kinda dig the one from KZN. that actually looks decent, especially with the sportkit.:rollsmile:

I dont condone this behaviour in any way though.

BMW Engineers spend thousands of hours and millions of euros designing their cars to have certain handling characteristics based on body design (airflow), size and weight distribution. What gives these chops the idea that they know better. :argh:

I know that my two statements contradict eact other, but from a visual design perspective, this e39 bakkie doesnt look half bad, but from every other perspective its terrible.

p.s. love the new smilies. :thumbs:

I've seen that one from KZN at the autostyle carshow a few years back. It actually looks quite nice. And it is a ///M5 I think- well it roared like one. So lumina ute eat your heart out. Lol.

OMG, a second one :yuck:

@///M Individual - I don't think it's an M5, rather a 540 with M5 bits. The clues that give it away are the silly 4.4 badging on the fender, standard rear view mirrors, standard kidney grilles, the chrome window trim instead of gloss black, and obviously the alloys. The M5 bits, front and rear aprons, what appears to be a trunk spoiler, door beading strip, and possibly the exhaust, were probably sourced elsewhere to create "the look".

@Sankekur - I don't think you are crazy at all :=):

a touring panel van is way cooler than these... its not like you can load a wordrobe onto the back of one of these seeing as they were never made to take the weight...
