E39 aircon relay?

Hi guys. Anyone know if the e39 has a aircon relay or does it control the clutch straight from from the control module? Im only getting 8 volt at the clutch.

Hi Danzell,

I believe the E39 does run on a seperate cicruit in conjunction with the Aux cooling fan, I helped Leon diagnose an error not too long ago.

Also as the fan is variable, I would guess that it would run staight from the controller, as a relay would give you on or off, nothing inbetween, unless there is a transistor inbetween.

If you are getting voltage, then its not the fuse, Could be your FSR.
