Hi guys
Let me introduce myself being the owner of this E39 525i manual... Love the car to the moon and back. She has 400k plus on the clock, but recently, 4 months back, I did a replacement with the same M54 motor, after the previous cooked. Car is running smooth, except for lagging on the revs/throttle. Still have to figure that out...
I'm in Namibia on the border, close to Upington...so its a bit difficult getting good service and parts readily, at affordable prices.
Problems currently on the car:
1. Lagging throttle/revs (Irritating)
2. Whinning sound on A/C motor, yet working
Urgent: Recently visited Supa Quick, Upington to have a Tow Bar fitted. Just to be informed that those have been discontinued. So I bought a 2nd hand in Windhoek, but it looks messy, requires the bumber to be cut, and looks more like that of a bakkie... Was hoping to get a beautiful detachable tow bar.
Please advise where applicable
