On my way back from Durb's this morning noticed a burning smell and some smoke coming out from under the hood, pulled off on the side of the N3 to check, the rubber bushing on the pulley of the aircon compressor had melted, I suspect that the bearing had seized, so I switched off the aircon and left it idling while I watched for a couple of minutes the burning and smoke subsided, I drove back all the way to JHB with the aircon off. Looks like no other major damage, all I need now is an aircon compressor, so if anyone has a spare one they want to sell please let me know, Thanks
