It took me a whole day to atleast get this swop out engine to atleast be drivable. Had it on daignostic no help. Question 1 i got a vacuum leak some where and car is very heavy on fuel. I found 1 rear vacuum hose that was just hanging and saw it needed to go to the fpr. 2nd question my intake pipe infront has a huge factory hole underneath not sure what gets connected to it and where it goes. Please help anybody with another 540i even if i can just come have a look . I am really gatvol now and tired. This is the picture of the intake pipe bottom hole not sure where it must go

Thank you so much yes i have that little box will attach it now to the car. Really appreciate it guys. The last thing there is a constant tsssss sound coming from the right side of the car if you standing directly infront. Im so sure its vacuum as it lets my car idle at 1500rpm then eventaully comes down to 500rpm and its super rich . The car is now averaging about 13litres to a 100km on the highway at 80km/h where in the pass i use to get 10 to 11litres constantly. I just cant find it i only have 1 pipe attached to the fpr and the other one is blocked off not sure if that is correct.

Hi gents i fitted the resonator back to the intake i checked the vacuum lines in the rear all seems ok no leaks no holes. I started car up for the first time and there was some back firing in the intake manifold after couple seconds went away but i clearly here that tsssssss sound still. Last question what is this image below and do i need to plug it inn seems like vacuum hoses run to it aswell.
