So I'm comming up the long hill on my way home, floor it and the next moment a big muffled bang and steam like everywhere, I can't see a bloody thing where I'm going....... Scared the Hell out of me.
Fortunately I managed to pull over before hiting anything.
Will take some pictures later but it looks like the LHS plastic bit on the side of the radiator has a fat crack in it, I can't really see as there is like R300 worth of coolant like everywhere, everything is wet as well....what a mess.
Where can I get a radiator for an E39 540i, need to try get this fixed before Sunday?
