Good day guys
my baby is giving me hassles....
i was happily driving along and she cut out. when i restart her she starts and cuts out repeatedly. OBD said left bank position sensor,
MAF sensor and throttle body/pedal position sensor problems. Maf is on order. i have replaced the cam position sensors on the left
and right bank as well as a prior reported faulty number 5 coil pack. fuel pressure at the schrader valve is 3,5 bar constant. i also have
a crank position sensor on order just so all my sensors are new. throttle body operates when the ignition is turned on. so i'm running
out of ideas here. still want to check the gasket where the throttle body mounts to the intake manifold for leaks.
just a further question... if one had to turn the ignition to on, without starting the car, if you tramp the excelerator, should the butterfly
valve in the throttle body move accordingly or only when the car is running?
any thoughts on the above, please guys i really know the solution is out there!!!
have a great day you all!
