Hi guys,
What is the correct make and specs of bulb i should put in? Is there any special tools needed to replace it myself?
Thanks

24W standard was good for mine. Just make sure you check the centre light in the rear window (accessed from the boot) that one usually gets missed and then people don't understand why the dash indicates a blown bulb but all are working...

Also if a bulb is inserted the wrong way around then it will still give an error message. In other words the globe works but faintly.

Very clever these computers, picks up the voltage or something like that.

Also check the holders, they can and will sometimes burn at the contacts,
you can get new ones from BMW.

I just sand mine with 1200 grit sandpaper, swab it with some liquid flux to clean it ( you can use meths or something if you don't have flux)
also, only use the best quality bulbs, the cheap ones burn out much quicker...

I always keep some spare....

Sometimes they are not blown, just need to take them out and put them back again.

Best to fiddle and test to see.
