How comes we are not hearing of any E60 good news?

Am concerned here, I want a morderninish looking bigger BMW car but the E60 doesn't come highly recommended.

I love my E46 and I believe due to that reason the E90 wouldn't thrill me much. That's why I thought of the 5 series (diesel by the looks of things) which is a bigger car and the e60 is a later model and its within my budget.

For 100k:

E39
Lower mileage
Any engine size
Better condition

E60
Higher mileage
Small engine
Possible damage

True, and my budget will be very rigid. Can't afford more. E39 is not a path I would follow. Eish, talk of being between a rock and a hard place. The SUVs are out of my price range as well.

If I may ask why not E39?

Its a superb motor car... Yes I am biased... However the build quality is supreme, looks modern on the road... Sure it doesn't have as many gadgets to play with, but does one really need iDrive and all those toys?

Then I would suggest keeping the E46 and maybe getting a small run around like an E36.

Or are you planning to finance?

I have nothing against the e39, its just that I needed the new shape of the battle tank. If I could get one manufactured around '06 I could be all smiles, but thats a tall order by the current state of affairs.

E39 only went to 2004, and SA didn't really get many 2004 models, as far as I know. I actually don't know of one personally. The US and Europe have many 2004 models. In the same year, the E60 came out.

Otherwise I don't know what to suggest. E90 is also too pricey at the moment.

What about a 7-series?

I was looking to buy cash around April/May.

pardon my language as I meant to say a 2006 E60.

I would love a newer bmw. the E46 has served me well and am not looking to sell it.

The e36 would be out of question; not due to its inability but rather year of manufacture.

I don't mind another e46 but that would be as a last resort.

I need a newer car.
A 2004/5 wouldn't be so bad but I believe a 2006 one would be legit.

The 7 series is out for now. I love the car though.

What about upping your budget slightly and getting an X5?

That's enticing. let me shop around on-line just to have an idea of how much they go for. if am to up the ante a little bit, it is going to take me longer to buy it.

good thought though.

Code 2 is a second hand car no?

Code 3 is the one to stay away from no? :fencelook:

HOWEVER one can see from how high the front is that there's no engine in there

tell me, what does the code 2 stand for. prev accident, or stolen and recovered?

Does this look legit? smells of snoek.

This guy says rolling body. I think the M5 motor is absent. come to think of it, would an M5 still be an M5 without the M5 engine.

I know the M5 goes for serious cash:rollsmile:
