Hi All

I was driving today with ASC on, after 15kms the ABS light came on.
Now both the ASC and ABS lights are on and does not go off.

Can someone please advise what the problem could be and also recommend a reputable mechanic
in the Pretoria area?

Thanks

More than likely your ABS and ASC control unit has died
RIP

Give Combined Electronics in Kempton Park a call

Check your wheel speed sensors as well. My E46 did exactly the same a year ago, and there were dirt on the sensors. Cleaned them and no problems since.

Did you by any chance go into a dip in the road where the car felt airborne?

Happened to me and it was the steering angle sensor that went out.

lf so, it can be reset...

@"Coisman" Thanks for your response. I will clean out the wheel sensors just in case.

Yes a slight dip.
How does one reset the steering angle sensor?

Take it for alignment. If you near Woodmead, the TWT has the OBD tool to set it.

If I recall correctly it can also be reset using InPA software.
