@ 3speed, wow man you just articulated and took me back in time to the 80's and my earliest memories of my dads E23 and E12's. I know that smell you talk of...the leather, quality and plushness was sublime. Every journey in it was an occasion...the seats and ride in that E23 was like being wafted along on a cloud.....aaahh the memories. Nurburgring lap times se moer, bring back that ride comfort...
