E36 window mechanisms Repair

Hi guys, i just wanted to find out how much does it cost to repair e36 window mechanisms and if anybody repairs them in Pietermaritzburg, Durban?

If your problem is the Window "Clicking" when in the UP MOVEMENT, It can be repaired, I have don mine, take off the door card, remove the Motor, the plastic cog inside can be filed to take the other metal cog, any help needed. Ask.

pity you not in Jhb theres a guy here that recons all window mechs and its prety cheap like R400 or so last i checked... the place is called cable works, i guess if theres some place around you that deals with cables they could fix it for you also..

Depends what's wrong my guy charges up to R1100 in a replacement mech on E90, u give you old one in.

I met this dude at Cliftons M3 spares when my window motor died on me. He came to my office, replaced the motor and made sure the window opened when the door opens and made sure it closes to do the seal. he hit me R650 for a serviced motor and fitment and new guides for the window rails.

he will charge about R650.. Is yours also a vert. the chaps name is steven. I will ask him if he can sort you guys out.
