E36 Sport Seat - new seat foam

Need to replace the foam in the drivers side seat of my E36. I actully bought a whole good seat in germany to get the cover, not realising how expensive the foam was. I asked the the seller to just strip the cover off to save on shipping.

The dealer charges around R3500 for the 2 pieces of foam, which is about inline with what the rest of the world sells it for. So anyone have any better ideas or should i just bite the bullet.

In case anyone wonders, this is the seat i bought in Germany.

Looked at getting a good upholsterer to make up a new foam piece?

Naah want an OEM one. Either very gently used from a near new seat. Or new from the dealer.

I can't see your pic, are they vaders?

If they're the normal sport seat a mate of mine had a set for sale, think he wanted R2k neg, could probably get them for around 1500 for the two front..

Strange the pic failed. Should be working now.
Looking for a passenger seat foam, if its in like new condition.
The seat cover I actually just bought for the suede. My centre piece is black hurricane cloth
