I have 1998 318i which I got last year around this time. Its pretty much standard but I'd like to start putting some work into it.

This is my first car so Im still getting used to all the squeaks and groans. I have this rattling sound coming from the left hand wheel. Kinda sounds like a loose metal plate when the car drives over certain uneven patches in the road. The Super Quick where I sent it to get a minor service done told me its wheel alignment which I obviously went and had done but a day after the minor service and alignment still the same problem.

You guys are the guru's...any thoughts :idea:

i am not such great in advice so i stand to be corrected i had a similar problem and it was my control arm bushes....if it is what i think it is im surprised they still went ahead to do the alignment...take it o a mech and get it checked up
