E36 M50 Cold Hard Start

Hi Fanatics

I'm having a cold hard start in the morning, it takes long to fire up, I changed the coolant temp sensor with Febi Bilstein brand. Still no difference, the battery is 1 month old today, any ides? The car is an E36 M50 320i m50 motor, there's fuel, as spark plugs are wet, thanks in advance

Hi bud, get your battery checked out.

A++ I took and they tested it and the report said its good, I used my home charger and after charging the battery the car took 2 - 3 turns and fired up. They won't exchange it as the machine says its good. I'm definitely sure that this battery it's the culprit, cause in the morning the cranking isn't powerful

I had the same issue however my battery was the original bmw from 1995 Lol so I just bought a new one. Do you perhaps have an aftermarket radio or alarm fitted sometimes this drains battery when the car is parked. However I say you bite the bullet and replace the battery as its cheaper than replacing a burnt starter motor

No hose/vacuum leaks?
MAF ok?
ICV ok?
Crank sensor ok?

All vacuum hose are new and have been tripple checked, so there's no vacuum leak, I'm definitely sure, the MAF seems ok and I don't think it does affect the car firing as my car can fire up with MAF but will die unless I rev it a bit, and as for the ICV I'm not sure but I cleaned it a few months ago and crank & cam sensors seem to be out of the questio they are also new (oem - siemens BMW brand) and what I learned is that the car won't run if they are faulty. Now I put my money on the battery, I charged it and the car is running as we speak.

@Nikhil - I do have an aftermarket car radio which I remove the face whenever I leave the car, no amp in the car, I also checked the boot light and turns off when we close the boot and the glove box light is being removed. Thanks Guys, much appreciated!!!

Hi Guys
As the title states cold hard start (E36 m50 320i vanos 95 model). There's fuel but no spark, today i tested the ignition coils wiring harness they give me 12.4v with the volumeter (pin 15 + and pin 1-). What you suggest is faulty? Ignition coils?
Crank Position Sensor? But i don't cause once it runs it runs smooth not missfire. Your advises and opinions/suggestions are much appreciated. Before i put in 1jz motor in there.
