E36 M3...timing belt or chain?

Hi guys,

Does the E36 M3 has a timing belt or chain? If belt at what mileage should I change and if chain do I have to change as well?

Your car has a timing chain, I dont know of anyone changing the chain or the tensioner except when having the engine rebuilt or when the chain starts making a noise.
