Hi guys and girls. I recently received a set of E36 m3 springs(coupe). I drive a 95 E36 325i(4 door). Will these springs fit on my stock suspension or does anything have to be changed to accomidate them. I've to do some research but I can't find anything worth mentioning. Any help or even contact details of some1 that does know will be much appreciated. Cheers!:ty:

speak to Moranor, one of the forum sponsors he can help you, if im not mistaken they don't fit as the spring perches are different.I would suggest H&R springs and and if you can stretch your pocket a little bit more get bilstein shocks.

Rears will fit. No problem. The front you would have to change your shock mounts and your shocks if I'm not mistaken.

And since you doing that I'd fit M3 lower control arms as well.

A good quality lowering spring works with the spec of a car and takes into consideration the weight of the motor/gearbox etc
Based on that alone I would not fit an m3 spring onto a non m3 car and vice versa

a good quality lowering spring will work better for the reasons German_spec stated...

If you do use the M3 springs you should most definitely upgrade the Dampers (shocks) at the same time the stock dampers will not control the springs

I have options for lowering as well as Dampers :)

Interesting point u making about the weight factor taken into account by spring manufactureres german_spec

Ok so lowering kit it is then. What are your opinions on Eibach 35mm drop kits?

I had eibachs on my e36 M3, drove like a standard car and had all the benefits of a lowered car like increased grip, traction and of course awesome looks :)

nothing wrong with Eibach and they are well priced :)

Eibach
-30 all round R 2335

H&R
-40 front -15 rear R 3060

I can offer you free shipping on to CPT

H&R use stiffer higher quality steel this allows them to make their springs lighter or stiffer depending on the application... all H&R springs are also made in house and not out-sauced so they can keep a very close eye on quality...

I do believe eibach are BMW approved or accredited. Cause they keep setting for it on the wheel alignment machines.

both of those use the same shock bodies and valving with different ends so they fit multiple cars... I always advise that if you on a budget rather go for a good spring shock combo that have actually been tested and fine tuned to make your car handle better...

PM me if you want to discuss further :)
