Some interesting E36 facts

While looking for wiring diagrams i stumbled upon a webpage that had some facts about E36s

http://passionbmw.vraiforum.com/t6977-TO...UR-E36.htm

if you scroll down the thread (at the link above) you will notice they state that a few E36 3.2 M3 came with SMG, so I'm sitting here thinking yeah right, but could it have come automatic , or is this just a hoax?

*edit*
did some reading, late model E36 M3 did come with SMG.
It looks weird seeing that gator and lever in a E36.

I know of guy here in Pretoria, in Hermanstad area, that has a 333i, :excited:
and it's parked under a carport, with boards and other stuff all over it. :cursin:
the guy say it's not for sale, but he surely doesn't apreciate it.
I will take photo's of it next time I'm in that area :thumb:

I wouldn't get an SMG unless it was under carplan or warranty,They very expensive to fix or replace.
I would love the 333 E30-heard they either come with power steering or aircon but not both due to lack of space. There's been a couple that have been imported to the UK

Correct, personally if I had a choice I would take mine with PS as the 333i is so ice cool you will have no need for a AC :)

@coisman: Looking forward to seeing those pics

That first-generation SMG is atrocious. You really don't want it. :D

I did see those comments on various forums, but if could buy i wouldn't that gear lever housing just looks out of place in an E36.
