Howdy!

Ive sourced e36 M3 side mirrors but was wondering if there are any issues installing them on a 328i?

Anyone have issues with this?

Thanks

Only issues are if they are from a coupe/cabriolet then they won't fit a touring/saloon or compact

Any update on this...I'll repeat myself though Coupe and Cabriolet mirrors will not fit a saloon-which judging by your pic is that you have a saloon.Coupe and Cabriolet have completely different doors and trying to fit mirrors from them onto a saloon/touring or compact is a no hoper

I had to get adapter plates for the mirrors to fit my saloon. I have not installed them yet and would like a respray on the mirrors before I put them on. Hopefully this weekend I will do a quick install to see how things fit and work before I do a respray.

I will update with pics.

One problem that I experienced is that the surface of the M3 mirror is not as large as the normal 328i convertible mirror.
This means that you will see less in the rear view than u are used to.

All in all, this is something you learn to live with, especially since they look hot!!!!!!
