If you want to guarantee you car handles well fit Koni or Bilstein. I still maintain that a good shock spring combo is worth more than cheaper coilovers... M3 springs are good performance springs unless you want to go lower adjustable Koni or Bilstein shocks offer the best bang for buck...
the money you save on buying springs and shocks over Koni or Bilstein coilovers can be better spent on swaybars...
yes Koni or Bilstein coilovers will blow just about anything else out of the water, but they are pricy and the gain is minimal compared to a good shock and spring combo when you look at the extra cost...
Just to clear the miss conception u have with this post:
BC, Yellow speed and D2 are not the same. They are all independent factories with their own R&D.
I have been importing BC coilovers for more than 4 years, sold 550+ sets with no problems.
BC will supply u a set with what ever spring rate u want, and revalve the shock to suit spring rate at no extra cost.
BC suspension is damping , height adjustable and rebuildable with all parts are separately available.
Price range from R8000 - R17500.
