Hi guys.

Has anyone replaced these hoses on thier car before?

No. 5 on mine burst on Saturday. :argh:

But I'd also like to find out if anyone has repplaced the others? Heres another diagram (no 4,5,6):

I had to remove the intake to get to these parts was just thinking while its out should I not replace all at once. Anyone had similar issues on their cars?

Guys I noticed today that when I removed the intake I damaged one of the ram tubes. Anybody have spare ones laying around? Or is it fine to use this one?

You can have it plastic welded as first choice.
Second choice use as is and install new seal.

How safe would a repair be? I wouldn't like a piece to break off and get sucked into the combustion chamber.

I would rather play it safe and get another one from a Scrap yard.I doubt it will be too pricey

If done correctly as good as new.

Being checking around. There's one in Cpt but I'm in Durbs. Trying to see if I can arrange delivery.

So here's an update. Managed to source a ram tube here in Durbs. Costed R400 plus had to give the guy my chipped one. I ordered the heater pipe from BMW should arrive on Wednesday. In the meantime I used a replacement piece from the spare shop, just so I could meet the guys for our informal meet on Saturday.

So assembled everything just on Saturday night car moves good now. But what a headache to put everything back on. Especially the pipes underneath the plenum. :argh:
