The RHS of my front bumper was sagging was annoying me too much so I decided to check if it could be realigned. After much fiddling, I eventually took the bumper off and the plastic bracket that the bumper slides unto. I noticed that the plastic bracket (mounts unto the fender wall) was previously butchered in an attempt to modify it and was possibly the cause of the problem.

When I took it to the stealer to get a replacement, I was told that it was the wrong part. Apparently that part was from a standard bumper and not the M bumper. Anyways, the parts clerk could not clearly advise which part was needed for the M bumper so I decided to 1st check someone else's M3 before getting a replacement. I have parts 11 & 12 on the below picture.

My buddy has an E36 323 with an M bumper on and when we checked his car, it has the same mounts as mine. More confusion but possible as his car does not have the original bumper. I still need to find out which part is required. Any ideas. Herewith Realoem picture of M bumper

Ive never had my bumper off so im not sure. Surely someone in the service department at the dealership knows? Parts clerks know less about what goes where.
