E36 m3 cluster gauges not working?

Hey guys I'm new to this so please bare with me...I have a 1994 e36 m3 and recently my cluster gauges have stopped working...All the lights on the cluster work but none of the gauges, speedometer, oil temp, water temp and rev counter? Please help what could be wrong? Checked all the fuses and all seem fine..Does the cluster gauges have a relay?

Have you checked the trunk wiring harness?

AC.SCHNITZER's advice sounds crazy but I would check. I found an earth wire behind the left rear passenger seat that affected my clocks, idling and power and once re connected she ran like clockwork again.
