Although many drag cars have been so modded that you can no longer call them anything other than drag cars, what makes this E36 so special is that it runs a twin turboed S38B38 M5 motor that has been dynoed to 1422hp!!

The car was built by VS MOTOR (Norway) and Tommy O. Björk (Sweden) and has an engine bay that looks like THIS!!!!

That run was their record breaking 7.83 sec @ 289 km/h qm run and the car is still registered and licensed to run on the street.. har har har.

The setup he is running is:

2x turbonetics T66BB turbos
autronic sm2 management
msd dis 4 ignition
6 x 3900cc injectors

and he's running on 106 Octane!!!
