E36 Lowering

hi Guys, does anyone know what is the best lowering kit to get for a E36 328i.

I've fitted Koenic 40mm lowering springs, but it was too low, could not even go over a speed hump or drive ways.i'm looking for springs that will make my car sit nice without it being too low.
Any Suggestions?

40mm too low? The BMW performance kit (for the E46) lowers by about 25mm. Not much, but subtly noticeable.

Eibach prokit is what I have, I can make it over speed humps fine, except really nasty ones.

How are your shocks?

ok i might go with the Eibach Pro kit 30mm drop

My shocks are standard ones fairly new, do i need to change shocks as well?

The eibach ones work fine with standard shocks, it will of course feel better with some aftermarket shocks such as koni or bilstein. I think the eibach springs are the maximum drop you can do whilst still using standard shocks, but i stand to be corrected here.
