E36 lighting issues

Hozit guys

My e36 decided to start giving me nonsense, started it after about 2 weeks and all of a sudden none of the dash lights as well as the window button ligts work so just wondering if anyone can help.

I have checked the fuses but they seem to be fine.

Silly question but have you checked that they are not dimmed?

fiddle with the dimmer switch. it's a known point of failure

Replace the headlight switch, it's faulty.

Ok il try the dimmer but can't remember messing with it, n I doubt even if its on the lowest that there would be no light at all, Gizmo could the headlight switch only mess with the interior lighting and not the exterior lights?
