E36 HID Xenon

Hi Guys,

I recently upgraded my lights to HID Xenon on my E36, however the problem I have is that they are too dim yet the quality of the product is rated excellent by friends who have them installed. The second problem is that my headlights flicker when I put the alarm on.

Please advise if anyone has a solution to this annoying problem?

Contact vsomai , the problem is you are using the original projectors which are meant for halogen bulbs and what you need is xenon projectors which will better disperse of the light .

Hi Leon,

1. you definitely need to change the projector to one that is designed for xenon bulbs.

2. change your ballast to CANBUS and the flickering will stop.
