Hi fanatics
So I need some advice on my e36 325i.
I'm posting here instead of the 3series subforum as I'm hoping to get more response.
I've got an M50tuB25 (336 xxx km) with an external coolant leak between the head and the block, so a head job is likely. I understand that these heads usually warp or crack and seeing as there's no mayo anywhere and no steam from the exhaust I'm hoping this isn't the case.
My question:
I was considering an MLS (multi layer steel) gasket. I don't necessarily have any BEEEG mods planned so the motor won't be over stressed.
Is it worth paying the extra for an MLS gasket or should I just stick with the normal one?
Also, if it is......does anyone now where in the cape town area will I be able to source one?
