e36 engine mounts

I need to look at replacing my engine mounts on the 328, and was wondering what decent alternatives are avail in SA besides the OEM's.

I think Powerflex do engine mounts as well.

I tore an engine mount in my 320d something about pulling off too hard all the time.

I checked Powerflex's website, and according to the parts listing, they don't.. :bawling: but thx anyway 4 the feedback. :thumbsup:

I know Febi makes mountings for the E30. I'm sure they make for the E36 as well. You can find them at any place that hold febi parts. I get most of my part at MasterParts.

Febi mountings are really hard. I've got engine and gearbox mountings and there is now a engine vibration in the whole car. It's not bad or anything, it's just noticeable every time you start the car. I still want to find out what the OEM ones cost and see if they are better.

Nic_s - shot 4 the feedback, but that's what I'm trying to avert. I would prefer not loosing too much ride quality because of overly solid mounts.... :thumbsup:

Anybody else have any suggestions please? :bump: I really would prefer not having to go to a stealership for these...
