E36 Accident/Scratch

Hi Fanatics

Last night on my way from work to home a VW Caddy reckless driver with Company's car tried to overtake me, instead of breaking for incoming vehicle He bumped me on the driver's door and scratched my driver's door, He then tried to ran away, I flipped bright lights on Him but He kept driving and fortunately there was an accident ahead of us and I asked the TMPD to help to stop the reckless driver, upon stopping Him he said we will meet next Saturday to discuss a way forward, I would like to know whether should I claim damage with His company as I don't trust Him, He's too dodgy. Any advise would be much appreciated, unfortunately pic can't upload

I hope you filed a report and got all his and his company's details. Chances are he won't pitch up

Do you have insurance?
If do claim from yours. Your insurance will recover that from that company.

Why no insurance? In this day and age driving with no insurance should be illegal

Even if you get third party, fire and theft, do it. Paying out is only one benefit: They deal with any kak that always arises after these events. Go through a broker. Use the forum vendor. Don't trust anything this total stranger (who has already tried to run away once ) says. Hope you get sorted soon and the company pays. Should be cheaper for them to settle with you directly.
