Get home this afternoon and hear a hiss from under the bonnet , open up and check . Find a noise on left side of engine , take out airbox and pull on pipes , one tears at connection to cylinder head .Leave car to cool down . Later cut end clean and refit with new clamp . Fill radiator and go for drive , clutch later feels funny - pedal goes to floor and does not return . Pull clutch master cylinder out ( 9.15 to 10.20 pm ) . Cylinder has clip in side at pipe end , not threaded as in 325i cylinder so no chance to play cannibal there . Will have to go to work ( 30 km ) like this in the morning and see what is available tomorrow .
Bought car in May with FSH , brake fluid is dark brown !! , was on to do list anyway , prefer to change it every 2 years .
