Intermittent on startup. Sometimes have to restart a few times. How serious is it? Do I have to replace the starter?

Fix it, I believe it's Bosch. Get an auto electrician to rebuilt and have a piece of mind

Most likely the solenoid thats getting stuck. You can get it reconned :coolShake:

Bendix is probably bad. A quick overhaul should do the trick
