Shocks are custom built Bilstein's.
Rear shocks complete, fronts still in manufacturing.

Thank bud.
I am pushing to have it done by April.
Waiting for Shocks
Waiting for Poly Bushes
Once I get all those goodies, the suspension can go back together & then the car can go for paint.
Paint should take +- 2 weeks
Rebuild engine/gearbox in parallel
Assemble & Install
Wiring will take 3 to 4 weeks

So April might be a bit optimistic but lets see how we get on.

You mentioned you using new wiring, is it aftermarket?

By the way I subbed to your Youtube channel..
Thank you very much, appreciate it.

The wiring will be done by Johan Minnaar in Pretoria. I used him on another build I was involved in.

But yes, it will be all custom due to the ECU master ecu I am using. We will use alot of the existing chassis wiring such as the plugs etc. but thats pretty much it.

Will keep that in mind, I'm busy stripping my harness as well, trying to save each wire possible, reading your post I just thought you had a completely new harness.

Are you trying to save the wiring for cost purposes? It's almost easier to start from scratch. Then you could place all the items in new positions that suit your build instead of being bound by OEM locations.

What I'm actually doing is stripping an e36 sedan as it's going to the scrapyard but I'm saving everything I can as I'm starting another e36 build so upon doing some research I could not find any aftermarket wiring systems that were basically new so I just figured that I would keep the existing harness, repair what's needed and just put it back into the car when it comes from the body shop as I'm planning a bare shell respray.

Wow, interesting.

Good luck!

nice, i see some bimmerworld stuff there, how long didit take to get here?
Thanks bud.

Took about 3 weeks to get. Not too bad. Local didn't have stock so I just got from bimmerworld. Had to pay Vat when they arrived but it still cam e to the same as local.
The discs would have been stupid prices to try bring in so I got through superior friction locally.

what flywheel and clutch you going with?
Sorry if i missed it
I need to investigate this a bit more.
But the plan was to lighten the existing flywheel if it is not a dual mass unit.
The clutch will be determined soon.
