Hi

I have a E36 328i cabrio.
The car was neglected for a while but now i want to restore it to its former glory.

I am looking for the following and would appreciate any help from you fellow beemer fanatics.
Soft top (black) or a place that does repairs to the rear window.
Boot lid (mine has a small dent)
Window mechanisms (passenger side one faulty) 2 door.
Interior (motors on seats not working properly)
M3 front bumper (complete)
M3 Wheels (i have the M5 wheel but like the M3 one better)

Then the most important part, i need to redo my motor, replace rings and bearings and the rest of it. Do you know of a place in JHB that will do a good job at a reasonable price? Standard is perfect for me, but would not mind adding more power if i have enough cash left.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

There is a place in Midrand/Bucchleu that can hook you up with a new soft top or just the rear windscreen, prices are quite affordable. I think the guys name is David. Company called Soft Top

Hi guys

Had trouble starting my car. Found that the fuel pump did not get power. The problem was that the tracking unit in the car was cutting out the pump. Removed all the tracking and rewired. The car can now start normally.

What i now found is that after driving a short distance, i loose power. the car will just drop rev's and not move. If i leave it for a few days, it will start up normally with power and then drop power again after a short while.

Any ideas what could cause this?
