Guys,
On my model (1996) the air intake pipe that leads to the air filter passes over the radiator with the scoop for cold air on the other side of the radiator. Was wondering if it is possible to change the inflow pipe and put the scoop on the same side of the radiator as the air filter housing. Make a new hole into the side of the air box and cover the old hole. Will have a much shorter route for the air to travel and less hassles when working on the belts/pulleys/etc.
The other thing that fascinates me is the funny plastic box that is connected to the air filter housing. What is the function of that box? Can i remove it and plug the hole? Have you done it??:=):
