E36 316i High Revs Problem

Hi guys,

Am kind of new, I have this annoying issue with my 1996 E36 316i, when I shift gears (up/down) at high RPM the revs don't come down (for a couple of seconds or so) with my foot off the gas pedal.

Please help.

Welcome, I had this exact issue with my e46, but the difference is that it is fly by wire, and the throttle body adaptions needed to be recalibrated.

Did some googling and found this http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3512 the pedal feel sticky and comes back slowly, anyone expirienced this problem?
