There's the old German club in CT. They have a private parking lot, the food and drink is good, and cheap, and I've been to a few car meets there over the years. Have not been for a while, so we would have to check if they still exist, call them, and see what they can offer us. May just be an option.

Can't seem to find anything about it for Cape Town. The is one in PE though.


I think what we need is a sort of shopping center where there's take away places. We have a nice one here in Somerset West :mmm:

I haven't been there often, but there be a Steers, St Elmo's Pizza, And KFC at the entrance to the center. There's also lights so we should be able to get away with some photo's at night. Take a look below and you'll also see the tons of parking.

Upper part of Hope St? Used to eat out their with my folks many, many years ago! Wasn't it changed to the "Captains Cabin" or something? But yes, nice private parking area. Maybe a case of finding a few nice meeting areas that we can rotate so that it's closer for the Northern and then Southern Suburbs members...

That's right, I think it's called something like "Roodehek" now. They often send me sms's with lunch and dinner specials. Must go past there and get some details. Agree, would be great to find different good places in the various suburbs. Adds a bit of variety. You never know what little gems may be out there that make good meeting places.
