She lives again!!!!!!

I picked the 540i up from LZ past weekend... bought a full gasket set, fitted it, and drove her to work on Monday....
Will post some pics when I get time...

Things now to sort...
1 Radiator leaking... R6000 from the stealers :banghead: Hope silvertin has got stock.
2 Very bad clutch shudder.. maby pull the box tomorrow night to see what is going on..
3 Exhaust.... I just cant decide what do do there
I have had a e34 540i/6 (This is my 5th 540i) with a full RGM system on and it was heaven!!!! :drool:
Should I go loud again or.... :thinking: Whell I have got a E34 M5 exhaust in the gerage, I think I must make that fit and see what hapens....

Im super chuffed she lives again...

The pipe that I put on was fairly sedate, based on the fact that I used her as a daily drive, if you have an E34 M5 exhuast, and it fits without an issue, then change it, I would.

Yehp, the clutch shudder is an issue, still one of the things that I needed to do, see what happens when you rebond a clutch and dont skim the flywheel....

The M5 exhaust will need slight modification.... I think I will try that.
Rebond the clutch???? That will explain it...
Well I have to say this 540i drives realy nice with all new brakes and the H&R suspension!!!! Thanks LZ

And I want to sort the interior sound aswell.

Well if your after just basic sound, I gave you the speakers that came out of the car originally, you can simply wire that into the headunit, should sort you out for some basic tunage. Never bothered to get the arial sorted.... Car comes with a damm nice MP3's on it... so enjoy

Well I havent even turned the radio on once..... still loving the V8 sound track.... (It's got a lot more volume than the M5!!)
