The more i think about it the more i doubt that claimed speed of 323km/h
Heck, even an e60 struggles to do those kind of speeds. There is no way in hell an e34 without FI can do that.

E60 can do 330+ delimited just shows how much the so claimed experts know. As for the e36 m3 evo, look at the guage under the rev counter.. its wait a oil temp where the smg has a led display of gearbox mode and gear. So why ask the change when it did not. Also u say no ways a s38 can do 300kmh+ Here some pics of others with minimal mods doing the same..

This guy sprouts so much horse S**T Not you Saber.First its an M5 with mods, then an imported M3 and now this.

To get near those kinda speeds you need a lot of hp and good Aero dymanics, there is a reason that super cars make stupid amount of power and have a good power to weight ratio.

The newest Porcshe 911 turbo tops out at 312 Kph, engine makes 368 KW and weigh 1645kg

E34 M5 92–95 (Euro) I6-24v 3.8 L 0-60 mph (97 km/h): 5.9/5.7 sec*
Top speed: 177 mph (280 km/h)(electronic limited)
1,670 kg

Problem at 270 you are spinning the motor to past 7000 RPM how long is that going to last before it explodes and parts rain down.

To get past that requires both a rear diff and gearbox change and more power to over come the brick that is the E34 M5.

Would you want to 250+ in such a old car ?

A brand new M5 rolled at 300 KPH in germany and both people just survived.

Roll in a 15 year old car at 300 and I will wash whats left off the road with a hose pipe.

I'm sorry but who the F... cares about doing 300kmh in an E34 M5?

I own one of these cars and I wont take it past 160, the thing with it's older technology struggles for traction in the dry already trying to put the power down. In the wet the throttle postion just controls how much sideways you would like to go.

Way more than enough fun already for what it is.

If you want 300kmh+ go buy something much newer and safer that's made for it.

Just my 2 cents
